Tian Boothe, the celebrated filmmaker, and actress Cate Kessler are working together for the third time in just a few years. Fans of the two have picked up on their chemistry and are eagerly awaiting the release of the new album, E.R. Emotional Release, in December 2021.
Multi-Talented Stars and Indie Films
Finding a filmmaking style can be a challenge, but Tian Boothe has proven that she can tell stories that inspire change. She passionately tells them because she believes in social harmony, and is bent on provoking her audience’s emotions.
As a director and producer, Boothe knows that the success of getting her message across does not only depend on her, but also on the people she collaborates with, especially the actors. “Cate Kessler and I work so well together and share a mutual respect, making it easy for us to work together,” according to Tian. She continues: “We worked together successfully on the films Shattered Dream and E.R. Compliance, and I knew I would ask her to feature in my new film E.R. Emotional Release.”
Tian Boothe is a multi-talented young woman who followed her dream to come to America from Jamaica to study Software Engineering. Of Jamaican and Syrian descent, it wasn’t long after arriving here from Kingston, that Tian decided she wanted to follow her heart and work in the arts, where she has excelled. Her creative talent doesn’t stop at the cinematic level, because Boothe is also a talented musician.
Cate Kessler is just as talented. Besides a career in acting (both in theater and film) she is also a model. It was inevitable that these two gorgeous and talented young women would work well together.

Much Anticipated Release
Basing a movie on her personal experiences proves how emotionally invested Boothe becomes in her work. Her fans are eagerly awaiting her upcoming film E.R. Emotional Release, a project Tian Boothe is sure to garner the critical acclaim she has become known for.
This personal film style, which has been described with adjectives like fearless, dramatic, and truthful, is used once again to show a woman who grew up with a limited emotional range. The narrative music album uses complex orchestrations to demonstrate the depth of the woman’s feelings when someone finally reaches out to her.
As a daydreamer herself, Tian Boothe is the ideal person to demonstrate the release of the emotions held inside by a sensitive soul.
Over the years, she has received recognition for projects like her acting role in the Amazon Prime Film, Ain’t No Other Way, and her short film Shattered Dream. As a student, her film Fall Break was nominated as Top Student Film and made the Dean’s Honor List at LACC. Her directing efforts did not go unnoticed either.
“It is wonderful that indie films can be enjoyed by everyone with access to a device and internet,” Tian Boothe told us recently. “This way more talented people can promote their work and reach audiences far and wide. This is how young talented people like Cate Kessler can get more exposure, presenting what they are capable of.”
Talking From the Heart
Just recently, Tian Boothe became an American citizen. In almost eight years, she has written, produced, and directed several successful films. She has worked with many celebrated artists, including Cate Kessler. Her introduction to Kia Kiso, the award-winning producer of Mile… Mile & A Half, America the Beautiful, and Spiritual Liberation, in Boothe’s final term of film studies, resulted in a mentorship.
Many fans aren’t aware that Tian Boothe is from a family of artists. Her uncle is the much-loved Jamaican vocalist, Ken Boothe. She also has a famous brother, the music producer Jullian Boothe who is Amara La Negra’s manager and known for his role on Love & Hip Hop: Miami.
Her passion for mathematics and computer science has not gone to waste – Tian Boothe also works as a software developer. It is not surprising that her talents don’t stop there, since Boothe was scouted by Marquee Image Models while trending on Instagram. Here she uses her creative talent to produce content for the app’s partner Likee.
