The 2025 World Robotics Conference, co-hosted by the China Electronics Society and the World Robotics Cooperation Organization, was held in Beijing from August 8th to 12th. The number of participating companies increased by 25% compared to last year, with over 100 new product launches, nearly doubling the number last year.

New Robot Product Launches

Over 200 domestic and international robotics companies participated at the conference, showcasing over 1,500 exhibits and over 100 new product debuts, demonstrating the breakthrough robots have made from “running and jumping” to “thinking and sensing.”

NVIDIA pointed out that to promote the development of robots and the implementation of physical AI, three types of computers must be built: first, computers embedded in robots, such as the Jetson Thor on humanoid robots.

The humanoid robot market has entered a fiercely competitive state. Citigroup predicts that by 2050, the global humanoid robot market will reach US$7 trillion (approximately RMB 50 trillion), with nearly 650 million humanoid robots worldwide.
