Serhii Tokarev on Healthtech Startups AtriaPRM and Enhance Your Ability, Awarded Generation H Grants
The final of the third season of Generation H, a healthtech accelerator launched in 2024 by SET University and Tokarev Foundation, took place on 10 September. AtriaPRM and Enhance Your Ability were named the winners, receiving grants totalling €20,000. Three other startups, TomoPulse, OBRIY and PRM, also reached the final. The results were announced by Serhii Tokarev, an investor, founder of Tokarev Foundation and co-founder of SET University.
From Medical Documentation to Rehabilitation: What the Startups Offer

Healthtech in Ukraine can hardly be described as an experiment any more. Today, it is a fully fledged industry with its own leaders, whose products are gradually expanding beyond the country. The Generation H accelerator, supported by Serhii Tokarev’s foundation, aims to identify such founders. Since the accelerator was launched, more than 30 startups have completed the programme, with 60 lecturers and mentors contributing to its activities.
Five teams reached the final of the third season, which lasted 10 weeks. TomoPulse is designed to analyse digital chest tomosynthesis data for diagnostic purposes. PRM helps patients focus on performing exercises prescribed by their physiotherapists, while OBRIY serves as a bridge connecting a unified patient medical record, a licensed clinic, telemedicine and AI-powered triage.
AtriaPRM, which uses artificial intelligence to automate doctors’ work with medical documentation, was named the winner of the third season. The startup structures diagnostic reports, consultation notes and test results, partially automating clinical processes and patient communication. It received the main prize of €15,000.
Another €5,000 went to Enhance Your Ability following an audience vote. The project is a platform for children who do not use spoken language. It brings together alternative communication tools, support for therapists and parents, and educational content.
“We talk about healthtech, but what we are really talking about is life. I have seen hundreds of promising products throughout my work in technology and investment, but this field has always held a special place for me personally. Success here is measured not only by the number of users, revenue or a company’s valuation, but also by a doctor having enough time to save a patient, a person being able to walk again, or a family getting another chance. Through initiatives such as Generation H, the world’s next major healthtech company could emerge right here in Ukraine,” says Serhii Tokarev.
What Role Does Artificial Intelligence Play?
The development of healthtech today is closely linked to the capabilities of AI. The technology is increasingly being introduced into medical image analysis and used for automation and data processing. Developing individual solutions is only one part of this progress. In the future, AI will play one of the leading roles in medicine.
According to Ihor Liski, founder of the EFI Group investment holding company, artificial intelligence has the potential to shorten the journey from an idea to the practical application of healthtech solutions. This includes DNA sequencing, the development of new medicines and the fight against incurable diseases. With testing taking significantly less time, a medical breakthrough could occur within the next ten years.

Which other startups reached the final of the third season?
Three other healthtech projects made it to the 10-week accelerator’s final stage:
TomoPulse: Analyzes digital chest tomosynthesis data to assist in clinical diagnosis.
PRM: Helps patients stay engaged and compliant with physical therapy exercise regimens prescribed by their clinicians.
OBRIY: Connects electronic health records, licensed clinical infrastructure, telemedicine services, and AI-driven triage into a unified platform.
What is Serhii Tokarev’s perspective on healthtech and its impact?
Tokarev emphasizes that healthtech is ultimately about human life rather than standard business metrics alone. In his view, real impact is measured by practical medical outcomes—such as giving doctors critical time back to save patients, helping individuals regain mobility, or offering families renewed hope. He also highlighted that initiatives like Generation H help build the foundation for globally competitive healthtech companies emerging directly from Ukraine.
How is artificial intelligence shaping the future of healthtech initiatives like Generation H?
Artificial intelligence plays a core operational and diagnostic role, from automating documentation and structuring clinical data to processing medical imaging. Industry leaders note that AI drastically accelerates the time required to advance solutions from concept to clinical deployment, expediting critical areas such as DNA sequencing, pharmaceutical development, and research into complex diseases.
