GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – MDWerks, Inc. (“MDWerks” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: MDWK), a pioneering entity at the forefront of sustainable technology, proudly announced today that its esteemed subsidiary, Two Trees Beverage Company (“Two Trees”), is poised to dramatically enhance its spirits production capabilities. This August, Two Trees will commence the installation of a second, more expansive Spirits Rapid Aging System (“SRAS”) at its state-of-the-art facilities located in Fletcher, North Carolina. This strategic expansion is a direct response to robust, consistent demand and an optimistic outlook for future growth in the spirits market.
The new SRAS unit, currently in its final stages of construction, is designed to complement and significantly augment the capacity of the existing SRAS unit. This addition is critical for accommodating the strong, built-in demand for Two Trees’ highly sought-after aged white-label distillates and its acclaimed portfolio of award-winning spirits. Notably, the design and construction of this cutting-edge SRAS unit are being meticulously handled by MDWerks’ own subsidiary, RF Specialties, LLC, underscoring the Company’s integrated and self-reliant approach to technological advancement. Upon its full integration, this new unit is projected to approximately quintuple the spirits production capacity at the Two Trees facility, marking a pivotal moment in the subsidiary’s operational scaling.
Steven Laker, Chief Executive Officer of MDWerks, articulated the imperative for this expansion, stating, “Customer demand for Two Trees’ aged white-label distillates and award-winning spirits brands has vastly exceeded peak throughput of our existing spirits rapid aging system, which has been running at or near full capacity since May 2025. We are deploying a second, larger SRAS unit at Two Trees’ facilities in August 2025, which will provide approximately five times more capacity to meet built-in demand from several customers for various white-label products, including single malts, whiskeys, rums, and bourbons. Simultaneously, Two Trees’ branded sales continue to grow organically, driven by expanded distribution, enhanced marketing and successful new product launches.”
Mr. Laker further elaborated on the broader strategic vision, adding, “Our Whiskey-as-a-Service business model continues to gain traction. Under contracts that we previously announced in February 2025, we are building three SRAS units. The first unit is scheduled to be installed at the facilities of one of the largest distilleries in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2025 and we expect to deliver a second SRAS unit to this customer in the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, we anticipate deploying the third SRAS unit at the facilities of a U.S. broker of bulk spirits in the first half of 2026. Multiple other conversations are underway with industry participants who recognize the substantial economic and environmental benefits of our proprietary spirits rapid aging technology.” This forward-looking approach highlights MDWerks’ commitment to expanding its influence within the spirits industry through innovative, sustainable solutions.
SRAS Overview: Revolutionizing Spirits Maturation
The Company’s proprietary SRAS units represent a paradigm shift in the spirits industry, harnessing patented molecular energy wave technology. This innovative technology efficiently and sustainably transforms raw distillate into mature spirits, achieving traditional taste profiles in a mere fraction of the time—weeks instead of years. Crucially, this accelerated process is accomplished without any compromise on quality, while simultaneously yielding significantly reduced environmental impact and cost efficiencies. Compared to conventional aging methodologies, MDWerks’ SRAS units offer a compelling array of benefits:
- Award-winning quality and consistency: Ensures a consistently superior product.
- Better economics: Drives down production costs through efficiency.
- Less wood consumption (~90% less): Drastically reduces reliance on new oak barrels, promoting sustainability.
- Less storage space (barrel housing): Frees up valuable real estate by eliminating the need for extensive barrel warehouses.
- Less energy consumption: Contributes to a lower operational energy footprint.
- Greater innovation: Enables faster experimentation and new product development.
- Faster speed to market: Allows for quicker response to consumer trends and demand.
- Lower carbon footprint: Significantly reduces environmental impact compared to traditional aging.
