San Diego, CA – Premiering September 12th on Fox 5 (6:00 PM after football), the new home/renovation series, California Contractor, has secured its title sponsors. San Diego-based general contracting companies Classic Home Improvements and Classic Custom Homes are sponsoring this new groundbreaking series. A twist on traditional home improvement shows, this one features a real-life local contractor who takes you behind the scenes to look at renovation projects…. as they are being designed and ready to be built. Jack Crocker, CEO of both Classic Custom Homes and Classic Home Improvements, has spent his life in the industry and keenly understands all aspects of the business, inside and out.
Beginning as an on-site laborer, Crocker familiarized himself with every facet of construction as he worked his way up the ladder and finally started his own company. Classic Home Improvements eventually branched out into another company, Classic Custom Homes. Both entities have been serving Southern California for years now, with Classic Home Improvements celebrating their 10th year in business this August of 2021.
Why this foray into a reality-based series spotlighting actual remodeling jobs before construction begins? For Crocker and company, it is about being transparent and showing people what they can actually expect when deciding to renovate their homes. Unlike what the smoke and mirrors of more commercialized home shows may depict, California Contractor is an honest glimpse into home renovation planning. By following Crocker from project to project, house to house, viewers get to take it all in through both a builder’s eyes and the homeowner’s.
The Classic Home Improvements/Classic Custom Homes team was excited to embark on this particular project as it gives them a chance to not only show audiences how these types of projects progress, but Crocker will also be fielding questions from viewers regarding their own concerns when it comes to home remodeling.
The series will be hosted by local TV personality Jeff Krapf. Together with Crocker, Krapf will take audiences deep into the heart of some of the more complex renovation projects going on across San Diego. Nothing is off the table in the California Contractor tv show. From the surprises of city permitting requirements and stunning reveals, they will lay bare what really happens when contractor and client come together to renovate a house.
The series is set to air on Fox at 6:00 PM starting September 12th. The weekly 30-minute episode show will be a new twist on a classic concept: bringing viewers behind the scenes and showing them what home construction and remodeling is all about.
