Rain Falls Sideways During Typhoon That Hit Japan Island

By Alex Lang New York (Knewz) — A typhoon in Japan made it rain sideway. Video shared on social media showed the impacts of Typhoon Muifa on Ishigaki Island, Japan, on Sept. 12. The footage showed rain coming in sideways as its was whipped by the wind in the storm. Other footage showed the pounding rain at a boat dock as vessels rock in the waves. The typhoon forced the cancelation of All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines flights in the area. According to the Weather Chanel, Typhoon Muifa had wind speeds of up to 216 km per hour.
