Authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing in Newark on Friday night. Police responded to the 800 block of South Orange Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, where they found 52-year-old Sharod Gully, of Newark, with apparent stab wounds, officials said in a statement. Gully was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead. Officials said that no arrests have been made at this time, as the investigation remains ongoing.
