Netflix increases prices: Here’s how much you’ll be paying each month

Netflix has increased the price of its monthly subscription by $1-2 per month depending on the plan, according to the company. The company told Reuters on Friday the price increase would pay for new programming and allow the streaming service to compete in a crowded market. The standard plan, which allows for two streams at the same time, went up from $13.99 per month to $15.49 per month in the U.S. Netflix’s basic plan in the U.S., which allows just one stream, increased to $9.99 per month.
