Labor union cancels request for unionization vote at Bayonne Amazon warehouse

Local 713 of the International Brotherhood of Trade Unions (IBOTU) has withdrawn its petition to have a union election at the Amazon warehouse in Bayonne. Steve Kern, the union’s lawyer, confirmed that it withdrew the petition, but said he had no other comment and said he didn’t know why the petition was withdrawn. “I haven’t had time to discuss” with union leadership, Kern said.
