Japan’s space agency tests future supersonic scramjet engine specimen

By Trend Japan’s space agency has announced that it successfullytest-launched a small research rocket, which conducted tests for afuture supersonic scramjet engine, Trend reports citing NHK. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, or JAXA, is researchingthe engine. The engine uses atmospheric oxygen to burn engine fuelwith the airflow through it remaining supersonic or faster.
