Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth created quite a storm in Vienna this year, what with all the “shootings, explosions, helicopter crashes on the Danube plateau,” says Marijana Stoisits. Netflix’s “Extraction 2” was shot in the Austrian capital earlier in 2022, explains Stoisits, who runs the Vienna Film Commission, a contact point for productions planning film shoots in the city.
