Many countries are beginning to emerge from their self-imposed lockdowns even though covid19 will remain a challenge for many months to come. Schools and businesses are more and more opening up to the public. Like any new challenge, the problems that covid19 present have inspired new solutions. People are coming up with innovative products that help to keep the virus from spreading. For example, a company called ABC has designed, and is manufacturing, machines that can be used to disinfect shops, hospitals, schools and other public spaces in order to protect the bus and train drivers, workers, customers, teachers and students from any viruses that may be in the air and surfaces.

Disinfecting surfaces and the air manually is too labor-intensive, slow, inefficient and inaccurate. Fortunately, the machines by LAST SPRAY help to disinfect spaces faster, efficiently and effectively. We spoke to the team at LAST SPRAY LLC, the company that is making the machines.

What are the two machines that you designed? When do they become available?

We manufacture and sell a disinfecting sprayer and a disinfecting fogger machine. The machines are available online on our website and many businesses are already buying them. Press information and inquiries should go here:

Who should be using the machines?

Both machines are suitable for the sanitation of offices, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, houses, buses, trains, schools and other public places to prevent the spread of the virus. Both are fast, easy to use, efficient, effective and cost-saving for businesses and schools to use.

What is the disinfecting fogger machine and what are its advantages?

Our disinfecting fogger machine is called the LAST SPRAY 360 System. It is a heavy-duty machine that is suited for disinfecting large spaces. It uses a disinfectant called quaternary ammonium salt that is effective, nonirritant, and has low toxicity. This has been recommended by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention as the best disinfectant to prevent coronavirus spread. It is especially suitable for places with metal objects. The machine forms a fog that spreads sideways and upwards to kill bacteria, viruses, mycoplasmas and other pathogens in the air, walls, ceilings and in hidden corners. The fog can last up to 5 hours in a closed space.

What are the unique features of the disinfecting fogger machine?

The machine is easy to use and saves labor since is needs one operator who simply presses the start button and lets the machine do its work. It only needs seven minutes to heat up the disinfectant, and the operator can set the disinfection time so that the machine stops automatically. According to tests done on the machine, it needs only two minutes to disinfect a 230sqft closed space. That is instant disinfection without the need to manually dilute disinfectant. The machine saves on disinfectant as well, requiring only 83ml of it to cover a  230sqft space. The surfaces never get wet so there is no liquid to clean up after disinfection.

Is the disinfectant fogger suitable for all countries?

Yes, the disinfectant fogger can be used in any country. We make a 110V version and a 220-240V version which cater for most countries. However, countries that use a different mains power simply need to use a transformer or a voltage converter and maybe an adaptor with the machine.

What are the technical specifications of the fogger machine?

The technical specifications of the fogger machines include power output: 3000W (for the 220V version), 2400W (for the 110V version), preheat time: 7 minutes; tank capacity: 5 liters x 2; net weight: 21kg; dimensions: 560mm x 420mm x 430mm. Consumption rate is 5L x 2 to support 2 hours of disinfection.

Please describe the disinfecting sprayer and its advantages

Our disinfecting sprayer is called LAST SPRAY Electric Sprayer. It is suitable for smaller spaces like offices. It is powerful enough to spray up to 19-23 feet (6-8 meters) away. It produces 50-micron particles of disinfectant. The user can adjust the size of the particles if needed. Because the particles are very small, the surfaces don’t get too damp or wet so there is no need to wipe afterwards.

Is the disinfecting sprayer suitable for all countries?

Yes, the machine can be used in any country. The input power is 110V, therefore any country that uses 110V power can use it without making any adjustments. The countries that use other voltages for their mains power can simply use a transformer or a voltage converter and possibly an adaptor for the plug. Other specifications include: tank capacity: 7 liters; power: 600-1000w; and spray volume: 400 ml/min.

What advice do you have for everyone?

Covid19 has taught us to look after each other, therefore business and school and mass transporters have to disinfect their premises for the sake of everyone. If labor required to keep spaces is too expensive, machines can solve that problem easily.
