Some two years after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has approved a decree creating a committee to fight the coronavirus among the country’s Indigenous peoples. “The committee should be responsible for overseeing measures to combat the pandemic among isolated or recently contacted Indigenous peoples,” a publication in the government’s official gazette said on Tuesday.
