- A combination of benefits, perks and employee feedback continue to showcase why Avionos provides the recipe for innovation and career advancement.
- “I’ve seen this team grow from just a handful of local employees into a global organization that delivers work that rivals that of our largest competitors,” said Scott Webb, CEO of Avionos.
Avionos, a global partner to Fortune 500 companies transforming their end-to-end digital experiences to meet customers’ evolving expectations, ranks 6th in medium sized companies and 45th overall for Crain’s Chicago’s annual list of Best Places to Work. This recognition highlights employees’ appreciation of many of the policies and practices that Avionos already had in place prior to the global shift in individuals’ evaluation of career and company satisfaction.
This year’s list was created by Crain’s in partnership with Best Companies Group, which surveyed companies and their employees on the overall workplace experience, corporate culture, workplace benefits, policies, practices and demographics. Employee responses made up 75 percent of the total score to determine companies that met BCG’s standard of excellence. To find the top companies in each size category, BCG separated firms into small (25 to 99 U.S. employees), medium (100 to 249) and large (250 or more).
Since its founding in 2014, Avionos has grown to more than 200 employees globally. With Avionos’ Chief People Officer and two time Crain’s Notable Executive in HR Gibson Smith at the helm, a key focus of that growth has been thoughtful expansion across the U.S., South America and Europe that prioritizes employee happiness, career development, and cross-company mentorship.
“Building this team has been nothing short of extraordinary. Being able to develop individuals into thought leaders in the organization and see talent continue to take ownership-level accountability in the work we sell, deliver, and support, and be witnesses as our company continues to evolve with market changes is exactly what we hoped to achieve when we founded Avionos,” said Gibson Smith, CPO of Avionos. “We know there is more work to be done and that excites and motivates every member of the A-team.”
That excitement is warranted. With the help of Avionos, its clients are leading their industries in driving digital innovation forward by speaking at key industry events like Salesforce Connections and being recognized as finalists for accolades like the Adobe Experience Maker Awards.
“I’m extremely proud to be recognized as a Crain’s Best Place to Work in Chicago for the 5th consecutive year. I’ve seen this team grow from just a handful of local employees into a global organization that delivers work that rivals that of our largest competitors,” said Scott Webb, CEO of Avionos. “It makes me even more excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, continuing to partner with our amazing clients and finding new and creative talent to drive our industry.”
The opportunity that lies ahead for Avionos and its employees as they enter the fourth quarter and look ahead to 2023 are boundless. Focusing on employee well-being, flexibility, collaboration, and continuous education enables each employee to make the most of their career at Avionos and provide industry-leading expertise to their partners and clients.
Avionos’ team of experts drives measurable business outcomes for Fortune 500 and 1000 companies like Brunswick, Abbott Laboratories, and Transunion by partnering with executives to turn their digital vision into reality. Avionos’ integrated digital transformation, marketing, and commerce capabilities elevate its global clients’ digital experiences and drive growth.
