Financial criminals, fraudsters and people from all walks of life often hide behind pen names. Jay Abernathy, known as “Ali Scarlett” is the latest fraudster who is doing just that, going by the name of Ali Scarlett.
How Ali Scarlett uses credit card fraud to market his books:
He procures PR and news via online vendors, gather publicity – and then hit’s them for refunds via his card provider by making fraudulent claims. One of the latest vendors to who he did this, vowed to put an end to Ali Scarlett and his fraud: the company owner said: “Defrauding a PR agency is not so smart for people who are trying to build an online reputation: Jay Abernathy is about to get exposed for the fraudster he is. His ratings will tumble on Amazon and he will stop selling books, simple”.
It would seem that his Amazon book “The Clever Connector: The Easiest Way to Become Powerful, Regardless of Your Situation. The Underdog’s Guide to Networking with Billionaires, Celebrities, and Executives.” is largely built on scamming companies and defrauding people.
Struggling authors may have many tricks up their sleeves. But for Jay Abernathy to scam and defraud other people in the industry to do all the hard work for him and then commit fraud on them, is perhaps one of the most desperate tricks in the world.
