How did you get into fitness?
“From a young age I was always fascinated by fitness. I started training at the gym from a very young age and never looked back.”
How did you begin your career in fitness?
“It all started in 2013 when I started practicing powerlifting professionally and was participating actively in competitions. After half a year of training, I reached a norm in my category and was qualified as a Candidate Master of Sports. After another half a year, I was about to defend for a qualification of a Master of Sports. After that, I quit that kind of sports and moved to another one – fitness and figure competition, which became a reason for me to try becoming a fitness model.”
Do you have any future projects where we should keep our eyes peeled for?
“I will be soon on Playboy cover magazine in Russia! Stay tuned for the hottest nude session you have seen in a while!”
What is a random fact about yourself that you can share with us?
“I can speak three languages; Ukranian, Russian and English!”
We see that you have been travelling recently, how was it?
“Yes, I have been working hard at these photo shoots in the Philippines, Bali, Jamaica and Dubai. I was touring with Pink Kiss the events company and it was great working alongside other fitness models! I cannot wait to start travelling again. For me, travelling is the best way to get away from everyday routines or difficulties and get inspired. It’s kind of therapy from being in a bad mood and also a stress relief. It’s so great that you can see many places, different countries, meet amazing people and witness the wonders of this world.”
What can you advise someone who wants to break through fitness modelling?
“Stay motivated and do not get distracted. It is hard work because you need to keep up a good face for many different reasons. Try to build a fan base by using the tools of social media, stay connected to people because it will also help you a very long way. Don’t stop working out, eat right and just make sure that you are always happy and that you don’t harm your mental health.”
Who is your role model?
“My Grandpa. He brought us up, raised and educated us. He was like a father and a mother to me. But then a moment came when my Grandpa also passed away. I was 22 back then but I still felt like a helpless child because in a blink of an eye, I lost my support, protection and confidence about the future. That was the biggest loss in my life. I thought I would never get over it.”
How do you feel that you have 1.3 million followers on instagram?
“It feels really great to know that people look up to me and admire my work. It goes to show that my hard work has paid off and that I can show my passion with the rest of the world. I like to stay in touch with my followers, especially on my website. I don’t see my 1.3 million followers as followers, but I see them as fans and people alike who share the same love for fitness like I do.”
Is there any advice you can give for someone who wants to get more followers on Instagram?
“Be authentic and consistent with your posts. Focus on one topic, such as myself for body positivity and fitness and keep on playing with that. It can be anything that you are passionate about. You will soon see that people will discover you because they will have the same common interest as you.”
