With 2013 top 10 models named we are certain that our readers could not wait to see the beauties
It is time to find out which one of all the beautiful fashion models out there have been selected to feature in the top 10 list. It has not been an easy selection considering the fact that all the models have worked hard and they all deserve to be recognized one way or the other. That been said the list below is made of model that have really won the attention of renowned photographers and prestigious fashion agencies.
1.Miranda Kerr:
An Australian beauty who has been competing successfully at different events since the age of 13. She is associated with IMG and Chic Management. It was in 2007 that Kerr rose to prominence as one of Victoria’s Secret Angel. She is currently 29 years and married to Orlando Bloom.
2.Candice Swanepoel:
Candice is a South African lady, following her nomination as Miss South Africa she has moved to New York and became one of the biggest buzz names in beauty and fashion. The top-earning models list that was released by Forbes in 2012 had her name on it.
3.Alessandra Ambrosio:
The Brazilian beauty has lucrative contracts with Victoria’s Secret who made her their spokesmodel for the “PINK” line. She has been featuring as one of the highest paid models in the world, alongside Candice Swanepoel. She has currently earned her place in the list of Victoria’s Secret Angels.
4. Isabeli Fontana:
As early as 16 years this Brazilian model had already appeared in the Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalogue. Even though the rule at the time was that the company should not shoot with girls younger than 18, her beauty was striking enough for the folks at Victoria’s Secret to break their own rule and get her in. She later went on to sign with big brands like Versace, Valentino and Ralph Lauren.
5. Izabel Goulart:
Another beautiful Brazilian model who featured as a Victoria’s Secret Angel between 2005 and 2008. She is also known for her works with Armani Exchange. In the year 2011 her name was in the list of top 100 sexiest women in the world on FHM magazine.
6. Irina Shayk:
With the name sometimes spelled as Irina Sheik, this Russian model is known for her 5 year contract with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue between 2007 and 2012. She also featured on the cover page of the magazine in 2011. She was made the official ambassador of Intimissimi in 2010. The same year she modeled for Armani Exchange for the spring/summer collection. She also starred on the popular artist Kanye West’s song “Power”.
7. Behati Prinsloo:
A very young, beautiful Namibian model who was discovered at age 16 by Sarah Doukas. She ended in the list of Victoria’s Secret Angels since 2008 and has been their spokesmodel for the “PINK” line. Fashion show like Miu Miu, Prada and Chanel had her walk.
8.Kate Upton:
Kate is not just an american a model, she is also an actress who debuted in the film Tower Heist. She was named rookie of the year in 2011 after making an appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In 2012 she was announced as their cover model.
9. Doutzen Krouz:
Another actress who also happens to be a model. Doutzen is a Dutch model who started working for Victoria’s Secret in 2004 and just for years later she was made an Angel. She is currently in contract with the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty company, l’Oréal. In the 2012 Forbes top-earning model list, she was ranked fifth. According to that list, she is worth $6.9 million.
10.Erin Heatherton:
This young American fashion model born in 1989 was discovered on the Miami Beach vacationing. She started her career in New York City, walking for Oscar de la Renta, Shiatzy Chen and Diane Von Fürstenberg. She went on to appear on the cover page of MUSE, Velvet and D. Grazia.
Currently named Victoria’s Secret Angel she has also walked for the company’s fashion show since 2008.
There we are – with the list of the 10 most gorgeous women of the year 2013. Based on their hard work they truly deserve to be in that list. This is not to say that these women are perfect but the perseverance and hard work is what has brought them this far. As you can see, beauty can be found in many different countries. Some models are from Russia while others are from U.S and Brazil. Beauty is something universal and it can be a appreciated by any person.
